Upon return from an out-of-state jaunt, I visited Groesbeck on Monday at mid-day for 18 holes. Mistake.

The course was under some repair. That's logical for a Monday ... You don't want to do repairs on the weekends, after all. My partner and I were told we could play the back nine for an $11 fee, per person.

We decided to go elsewhere. At Highland Hills north of DeWitt, we were able to walk 18 holes for $12 each. Hmm. 9 holes for $11, or 18 holes for $12. That's a tough comparison for the city.

Granted, we had to drive up old 27 to get to Highland. A Lansing-based golfer would save gas money playing at Groesbeck over suburban courses. Still, I suspect that if Groesbeck is to be viable long-term, its rates have to be more, shall we say, flexible.

Yesterday evening I didnapos;t play any video games. Instead I�was messing around in MS Paint and I�was doing something pretty cool... Far into the drawing, I�noticed that the head was way to big for the body so I�had to erase that and start over... I have to redo the head now, and that is kind of annoying. Hopefully, I�wonapos;t give up and finish the drawing so I�can have something at least fairly interesting to post.

The soldier recognizes a member of the Cobras and just resigns himself to his hunger, as the thieving little asshole scampers back into the brush.
Taking a sigh, the soldier spies a rat sniffing around nearby. The soldier at least still has his sidearm... But before he can fire, the rat is eaten too by the same transparent force.
"OH COME ON" he curses, lowering his sidearm.... He looks down, and finds that his gun isnapos;t even loaded. In fact, thereapos;s been a bite taken out of it. The hyperactive asshole tried to eat that too
